Our first home - number 192

So I've started this blog so that people who are interested can follow our first attempt at a house 'renovation'.  I use the 'r' word very loosely as it's all pretty much cosmetic, not difficult structural work.

We exchanged on our first home on the 21st November, just 8 weeks after our offer was accepted, and our completion date is the 13th December so we'll be settled in time for Xmas.

The first job I have assigned myself for the Thursday 13th once I get the keys will be to give the place a quick clean and I'm going to attempt to prime and paint the walls of the living room and dining room - I have many people who doubt this can be achieved in one day so we'll see.  Maybe my eyes are bigger than my decorating belly...
