Shopping List: Wedding

The Chair Covers - £2.95 each
Well as it turns out, reasonably priced chair cover hire is hard to come by. I did have a cheaper company lined up who feel through at the eleventh hour, so it would seem you are paying the extra for reliability and customer service.

Ambience Venue Styling have dressed the my reception venue before (below), and will take care of all the delivery, set up and collection. I'm going for dusky pink sashes in taffeta.

The Centre Pieces - total £10 each
I knew I wanted the center pieces to be quite simple and cute, especially as chances are people won't sit at the tables for long once the hog roast buffet is being served up.  So I got some adorable candle holders, wrapped paper flower gardlands around them, and placed candles inside. The garlands are on a wire decorated with pale dusky green foliage so they look really pretty and crafty.

Candle holders: £2 from Ikea (plant pots)
Garlands: £12.50 from Notonthehighstreet or around £8 on ebay

The Guest Book - total £57.49
To make the guest book for the wedding, I bought a kraft scrapbook from Paperchase and filled the page with colourful little envelopes. The guests then can write us a note, pop in an envelope, and seal it shut with one of these personalised stickers. It's all in the little details.

Kraft book: £8.50 from Paperchase
Envelopes: £13.99 for 90 from Premier Envelopes on Amazon
Personalised sickers: £35 for 120 from Notonthehighstreet

Ribbon - Cox and Cox £14.50
This 'to have and to hold' ribbon comes on a huge 20m spool and I'm using it on pretty much EVERYTHING!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Wooden luggage tags - Cox and Cox £5.50
These adorable little tags will be the place settings for our guests. They come in a pack of 25 and the burnished edges add to the vintage charm. Will be gawguss with the aforementioned ribbon.

Kraft Parcel tags - Paperchase £2.50 for 10
These came in handy for our RSVP tags which I sent out with the invites. One one side people tick if they're coming or not, then on the other whether they're having the hog roast or roast chicken for their dinner (take a look at the picture above for the ribbon).

Invites - RSVP Candy £249
These invites are awesome, a real keepsake that I could frame and put ont the wall. You just provide them with the story of how you met, and your life together leading up to the wedding, and they put together the artwork within a matter of days. Great service and a fantastic purchase.
