The Wish List

Heart etched candle holder - NOTHS £12
For the wedding ceremony, I want this hurricane jar to house a candle on the alter (or whatever the civil marriage equivalent is). Then Chris and I can take a pause in the ceremony to light the candle, to think about the loved ones no longer with us as well as just to take stock of the day and not let it pass us by too quickly.  Then I'll save this as a keepsake of the day for the house.

Bouji chair - Made.com £169

I need to check the measurements, but at some point I'd love to own this occasion chair and nestle it in the corner of the lounge in between the fireplace and wicker hamper.

It also comes with bright turquoise legs, or upholstered in purple or blue or even red velvet. I'm not sure how many of these chairs I could sneak into every room of the house without Chris noticing.

Home Sh*t Home range - Dorothy

As well as movie name maps and funky artwork, Dorothy also have an awesome range of soul crushing home accessories - like these abusive paint colours and self esteem destroying plates. Not for sale sadly, but doesn't stop me from wanting them!

Wooden Wine Rack - £25 Next

Adorable french design, lots of matching items and cheap too. It'll be nice to display things other than 6x bottles of wine such as little vases of flowers, or can be used to carry a carafe and glasses out to the garden. Which is good because I don't think I've ever had 6x bottles of undrunk wine in the house before.  We have to buy wine by the box now. More economic. Only problem with that is I have no frame of reference of how many bottles I've drank until the box is empty.

Wrought Iron Log Holder - £60 Cox and Cox
We've now tiled the fireplace of the dining room and need something pretty to fill the space. At our favourite pub (The Crown, Amersham, if I haven't said it enough already) they have a non-functioning fireplace that they filled with logs, candles and acorns. So that's the plan and this pretty little log holder will act as the scaffolding for that set up rather nicely.
